Buying THCA flower on clearance

Clearance is where the lowest priced THCA flower on the site lives. It is also the best place to start if you buy in volume, because the price per gram drops as the weight goes up. Here is how clearance works, what you will find in it, and how to tell which option is actually the best deal for you.

Why flower goes on clearance

Hemp is harvested in batches. When a new harvest arrives, whatever is left of the previous batch gets marked down so it sells through before it takes up space the new flower needs. That is the whole reason. Nothing about the batch has changed, and the lab report that came with it still applies.

Two other kinds of product live here permanently. Smalls are the smaller buds from the same plants as full size flower, and trim is the sugar leaf and small material left from trimming. Both cost less by nature, so they sit alongside the markdowns.

How to work out the real price per gram

A bigger bag always costs more, so the headline price tells you very little. Divide the price by the grams in the pack and you can compare any two options on the site, in clearance or out of it. The gram weight is printed on every option.

The price per gram drops as the weight goes up, but not evenly. Work it out for each weight before you commit to the biggest bag, because the last step up is not always the biggest saving, and a smaller bag you finish fresh can be the better buy.
